How do the Mackerel and the mackerel-agent communicate?

  • mackerel -agent communicates with the Mackerel via its HTTP REST API.
    • No direct communication is done from the Mackerel side to the host that contains mackerel-agent.
  • Encrypted with SSL/TLS correspondence.
